2. Use public transportation or bike instead of driving
Having a car to go to work and run to the store but it can be expensive. Not only you have to make monthly car payments, you have to pay registration and insurance. You can save a lot of money by taking the public transportation if your work is far away. If your work is close to your home, riding a bike will save you even more money.
3. Shop for clothes at thrift stores
By designer clothes is nice to show off to your friends but it can get very expensive. Clothes are material to cover our bodies, paying extra for a name brand on clothes will drain your bank account. A good way to save money is by buying your clothes at a thrift shop. The clothes at the thrift shop are marked down half price and sometimes even more. You can sometimes find designer clothes at half off.
4. Get a roommate or two
It can be nice to rent your own apartment or house. You have the whole place to yourself but that can be costly for someone by themselves. Getting a roommate or two can cut down the rent in half and sometimes even more. You will still have your own room, but you must share the kitchen and living room with someone else. Just make sure you can get along with the person as your roommate.
